![]() From RIO CommunicationsSetting up filters in Microsoft Internet Mail These instructions are for Internet Mail and News Ver. 4.70.* If you don't have the latest version get it HERE The first step is creating a place to put the junk mail or SPAM.
![]() Now we will create a filter that will send any mail from cyberpromo.com to the SPAM mailbox. They are one of the biggest senders of junk mail.
Well, that's one! The next one you should make is for savetrees.com. As you saw in the pull down menus there are many options you can select at from, to, subject, body and so on. You do want to take care in some of these. Don't make a filter for aol.com just because you got junk mail from someone there. It you do, all mail you get from aol will end up in your SPAM box. There is a site at http://www.csn.net/~felbel/jmemail.html that has much info on filters and noted spam domains. Give it a look. It may help your head from hurting so bad when you start your email and get a flood of junk. Remember ... You can't stop them from sending it (I even get it to support@rio.com) but you don't have to read it! Written by Grumpy's Web Graphics for RIO Communications All Rights Reserved |
